Disc Golf—my new recreational hobby

Last summer while vacating in California I got the chance to play Disc Golf (yes, it’s golf but played with a frisbee (or disc as it’s preferably called because Frisbee is a registered trademark of the toy company Wham-O)).

If you want a little taste of what it’s all about then try watching this this promotional video:

It’s much more fun to play Disc Golf than to watch it on TV, of course, and it’s both easy and cheap to get started. I have quite a collection of discs already (see below) and most places around the world (and especially in the US) have disc golf courses nearby.

Big wall of books

An amazing wall of books made by computer graphics rendering. It’s a submission made by students to an architecture competition for the Stockholm Public Library. It’s interesting to see how it was made.
